About RoomTested

I'm Nicholas Edwards, and RoomTested is my testing room. I review smart home and desk gear from the UK — the kit I actually buy, install, and live with, in a real room rather than a studio.

Every article here is written by me. I use automation for the boring parts (publishing, sharing posts to social media), never for the opinions: if a verdict is on this site, it's because I tested the product and formed it myself. The how we test page explains the process.

Prices shown are hand-checked estimates with a visible "price checked" date — stores change prices constantly, so treat them as a guide and the store page as the truth. When the site carries affiliate links, that's declared plainly on every page that has them and in the disclosure policy.
